.2007 Recording Schedule – CD Update.

hey guys!!…
i’ve been in los angeles over the holidays finishing up some vocals on the last few songs for the record and backgrounds on all the songs.

We have 18 songs almost finished – most just need strings and a few still need bass, done by Marty O’Brien (check out his amazing clothing company, Rock Czar, NOW!)

almost all drums are tracked and sound amazing – thanks to Lance Garvin, Mark Colbert, and Jim Keltner!
Abe Laboriel Jr. is going to be recording drums on the last song that is going on the record–The Red Death Ball….MY ABSOLUTE OBSESSION AT THE MOMENT!!! i simply cannot wait to share these songs with everyone.

fish is a complete genius on acoustic, electric, and slide guitar and his tracks are sounding incredible! ben’s guitar and piano tracks are entirely geniiiiuuuuus as well.

MF Dan Certa (www.dancerta.com) is the pro tools MASTER who is engineering the day to day recordings and comps while also dealing with fish, ben, and i thinking that we are incessantly hilarious (we are, of couuurse)

Jan 2 – 21: Los Angeles: String compositions for 12 songs on the cd arranged by THE GREAT David Campbell (http://davidmusic.com/)

Jan.15: Abe Laboriel Jr. records drums for The Red Death Ball!
Jan 22 – 28: Los Angeles – All strings recorded (David Campbell) / final vocals and backgrounds FINITO

Feb 1 — Feb 11ish: final mixing on all songs, LA
March 8: Mastering of full album @ Sterling Sound , NYC

i’ll keep this site posted of dates after that or changes to the schedule!
