first off, thank you thank you thank you to any and all of you who have downloaded my EP on iTunes or who have even stopped in to my page and listened to my music. i am truly grateful. you all ROCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK (times a BAJILLION-GILLION).

i am officially ON TOUR!! we’ve been driving to new orleans since yesterday morning. we’ll be there tomorrow morning. i am so incredibly excited, i can’t even sleep! ok, that’s not true. once my head hits the pillow i’m going to be OUT, but i AM PSYCHED IS THE POINT!

hey everybody!

so, i just thought i’d write a little blurb about ze songs that are going to be on the ep.

“these two hands” is a song ben and i wrote early last year about overcoming your fears and jumping into the unknown.

“just a phase”- a song michael “fish” herring and i wrote about a dramatic time in my life where i started treating my best friend in the world like shit because of a boy. blah.

“hallelujah” is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. ever. leonard cohen

“together forever” is a song i don’t think anyone’s ever heard before. i wrote it about staying in a relationship simply because it’s something you’re used to.

so, those are the songs on the ep! i know a lot of you like the red death ball and some other songs that i’ve had posted in the past…..but NO FEAR. the album is only a few months from being released and THAT’S going to have all the songs i’ve ever posted on here plus WAAAAAAAAAY more.

i am SIGNED!! fo sho, fo real. with the music business the way it is right now, ben, my management, my whole team and i decided that we should take this all the way. after doing the entire album independently, why hand it over to The Man in the end? so, ben created a record label, FNR records. WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOTTTT!

THE EP IS GOING TO BE RELEASED MAY 27. (the FULL CD later this summer) which brings me to my NEXT point…………..the show that night will act as an ep release party. we’ll have the ep’s in hand, ready to be sold!

so……anyone in l.a., this is THE night to come to one of my shows. mark your calendar, and BE THERE! it’s at 10:00pm. it’s $8 to get in. and the hotel cafe is at 1623 1/2 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028.

well, im sitting here watching this random movie called punch line. i absolutely lurrve the rain, so this MONSOON here in l.a. is kind of my heaven.

i had such a fun show last night! thankfully the rain didn’t keep too many people from coming! i broke a string within the first 15 seconds of my first song. yeah….it was actually pretty hilarioso. so, i did a quick swicharoo, and kept on agoing. the show felt so good! i love molly malones, and i can’t wait to go back!

on the business side of things…things are really getting good! we have a really big meeting coming up next week and after that i’ll know more specific details about this year…which is going to be a lot of work, but hopefully full of big things. and i am SO excited. i’m in negotiations with a label right now (more about THAT coming soon, i promise!!), so plans for this year keep getting more exciting!! i just cant wait to get out and play more shows and meet more people. and….i cant wait for these songs to out and available for people to buy!! its coming soon….

so, right when i got back from wondrous Montana, i went right back to work in the studio. i know, i know. we already have 17 songs. and they’re all mixed and mastered. but this song is GOOD. i mean really good. it’s called “never learned to lie”. ben and i wrote it in november before the thanksgiving/christmas break. man. im obsessed. and i cant wait for you to hear it!

well, i think i’m gonna go back to my movie. but man i need to back it up since i was concentrating really hard on this blog. =) here’s a random fact for you: i love young tom hanks. yeah.
